Meet The Team
Bain "Pop" Cobb
Founder
At a young age, Pop came to NJ from North Carolina looking for work and began to groom and show dogs. He started Tarheel Kennels, which would later become Tarheel Total Pet Care, and worked until the 1970s before retiring. To this day, Pop is an inspiration to the facility!
Steve & Marge Cobb
2nd Generation Owner
While Steve was raised in the pet care business by his father Bain, Marge grew up on a local farm in Pottersville, NJ. For many years, they raised their three children while continuing to grow their business. Both still lend their expertise to the kennel today.
Roy Cobb & Family
3rd Generation Owner
Roy was raised in the pet care company that his grandfather created and always wanted to contribute to the family business. Now, he does just that! In his free time, Roy enjoys playing and coaching volleyball.
Dave
Dave’s love for dogs influences his work at Tarheel, where he is a camp advisor and avid dog walker. He enjoys obedience and agility training his own dogs, as well as skiing, mountain biking, hiking, and kayaking in his free time.
Dana
A certified canine massage therapist from Bancroft School of Massage Therapy and a professional groomer of five years. Dana grew up with animals and always knew she wanted to work with them. In her free time, she enjoys going for hikes, traveling, and horseback riding.
